• Device & Diagnostic Data: In accordance with Apple guidelines, we may automatically collect technical data such as your device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, language preference, and performance/crash logs to ensure app stability.
• In-App Purchase Information: All financial transactions, subscriptions, and purchases are processed directly and securely by Apple through Apple StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or have access to your credit card or payment billing details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Data transmitted to AI processing endpoints is sent over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
• AI service providers process text and image inputs strictly for inference on our behalf and are bound by stringent confidentiality and data protection obligations.
• Your private conversations are never made public or accessible to other users without your deliberate action to share a character.

4. Data Retention and Storage

We retain your personal data and character records only for as long as necessary to provide the Soulful services to you, or until you choose to delete your data.

• Chat History & Characters: Stored securely in our encrypted database associated with your user identifier.
• Local Cache: Temporary character avatars and dialogue caching are stored locally on your iOS device to optimize loading speed.

5. Your Rights & How to Delete Your Account/Data

In compliance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines and international privacy standards (including GDPR and CCPA), you have full control over your personal data:

• Delete Characters: You can delete any individual AI character and its associated conversation history directly in the app at any time.
• Delete Account & All Data: You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated characters, dialogues, and settings directly within the app by navigating to: Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is instantaneous and irreversible.
• Data Access & Export: You may request a copy of your personal data by emailing our support team.
• Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent for any optional processing at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

Soulful is intended for mature audiences and is rated 17+ on the Apple App Store. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16/18 where local jurisdiction requires). If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to remove such information and terminate the associated account.
